The aluminum Side profiles from Van der Valk are essential in ValkPitched - Clamp mounting systems on pitched roofs. Previously, all Van der Valk Side profiles were only suitable for solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1016mm, but thanks to the extra-long Side profiles, new generation solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1052mm can also be mounted quickly and efficiently. The VDV701905820 has a length of 5820mm and is suitable for five panels with a width of 1134mm.
The installation of the extra-long Side profiles is the same for every roof hook. The profiles are secured to the roof hook using hammer-head bolts. The hammer-head bolts are mounted in the slots on the sides of the profile and then tightened with a flange nut. It is important that the head of the bolt is properly placed in the slot to prevent the profile from coming loose from the roof hook.
