Warranty and returns

You are always entitled to a minimum 2-year warranty, which may be longer if stated otherwise (for example, with some PV inverters).

Manufacturer's warranty terms: The warranty card, if included in the manufacturer's packaging, and your purchase invoice always serve as a guarantee (fill in your card carefully and follow the manufacturer's instructions).
In the event of malfunctions or defects within the warranty period, please always contact the after-sales service of the relevant brand.

The customer undertakes to install the purchased product in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and Belgian installation standards (read installation manuals carefully) .

The end customer is responsible for carrying out the installation and any commissioning.

We are not responsible for any installation work you, as a "do-it-yourself" customer, have carried out.
We are not responsible for registered mail lost during postal transport in Belgium or the Netherlands.
The manufacturer/importer is responsible for all technical specifications on their website, technical sheets and in manuals.

Ecowatts cannot be held liable for technical deviations after sale.

No item will be taken back after collection or delivery without a valid reason or defect (right of withdrawal).

Return Policy

The consumer must notify the seller within 14 calendar days of the invoice date that they wish to exercise their right of withdrawal. This is, of course, only possible under certain conditions:

  • To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us in advance by email of your decision to cancel the agreement.

  • During this period, the consumer will handle the product and packaging with care. They will only unpack the product carefully enough to determine whether they wish to keep it.

  • If he exercises his right of withdrawal, he will return the product with all accessories supplied and in the original condition and packaging to the entrepreneur.

  • Goods can be returned independently or shipped to us via an external shipping channel. The associated costs are always borne by the consumer/customer.

  • Refunds for returned goods, excluding shipping costs, will be processed within 10 business days after inspection of the returned product and approval by our returns department. This is, of course, subject to strict return policy.

Exclusion of return

  • Items that are not stock items and have been specially ordered from the manufacturer will not be returned.

  • Custom made items such as cabling are sold per meter.

  • Goods with damaged packaging or goods that are damaged and can no longer be sold as new will not be accepted for return.

  • The right of return does not apply to self-employed persons.
