The aluminum side profiles from Van der Valk are essential in ValkPitched - Clamp mounting systems on pitched roofs. Previously, all Van der Valk side profiles were only suitable for solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1016mm, but thanks to the extra-long side profiles, new generation solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1052mm can also be installed quickly and efficiently. The VDV701905820 has a length of 5820mm and is suitable for five panels with a width of 1134mm.

The installation of the extra-long side profiles is the same for every roof hook. The profiles are attached to the roof hook using hammerhead bolts. The hammerhead bolts are mounted in the slots on the sides of the profile and then tightened with a flange nut. It is important that the bolt head is properly seated in the slot to prevent the profile from detaching from the roof hook.
