Van der Valk's aluminum Side profiles are essential in ValkPitched - Clamp mounting systems for pitched roofs. Previously, all Van der Valk Side profiles were only suitable for solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1016mm, but thanks to the extra long Side profiles, new generation solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1052mm can also be installed quickly and efficiently. The VDV701904670 has a length of 4670mm and is suitable for four panels with a width of 1134mm.

The installation of the extra long Side profiles is the same for every roof hook. The profiles are secured to the roof hook by means of hammerhead bolts. The hammerhead bolts are mounted in the slots on the sides of the profile and then tightened with a flange nut. It is important that the head of the bolt is properly placed in the slot to prevent the profile from coming loose from the roof hook.
