The aluminum profiles from Van der Valk are essential in ValkAce mounting systems on pitched roofs. Previously, all Van der Valk Side profiles were only suitable for solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1016mm, but thanks to the extra long Side profiles, new generation solar panels with a maximum panel width of 1052mm can also be mounted quickly and efficiently. The 701901220 has a length of 1220mm.

The installation of the extra long Side profiles is the same for every roof hook. The profiles are secured to the roof hook using hammerhead bolts. The hammerhead bolts are installed in the slots on the sides of the profile and then tightened with a flange nut. It is important that the head of the bolt is properly placed in the slot to prevent the profile from detaching from the roof hook.
