SMA Tigo TS4-R-O – optimizer for solar panels

Always check that the maximum specifications of the solar panel (such as the open-circuit voltage Voc and short-circuit current Isc) do not exceed the limits of the specific TS4-R variant.

The SMA Tigo TS4-R-O optimizes the output of individual solar panels and helps to limit energy losses due to partial shading or performance differences between panels. Suitable for new installations and expanding existing solar energy systems.

Thanks to its selective application, only the solar panels that require optimization need to be equipped with an optimizer. The module is easily mounted to the panel frame, without the need for special tools.

With additional communication equipment, the TS4-R-O also supports monitoring and shutdown at the panel level.

A Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) and Gateway are required for monitoring and shutdown at the panel level. Check electrical compatibility with the solar panels and inverter before installation.

In addition to SMA, the TS4-R-O (Optimizer) can be combined with inverters from brands including Fronius, Kostal, GoodWe, Growatt and Sungrow. The built-in 'Selective Deployment' technology ensures that the optimizers only need to be placed on the panels that actually catch shade
