Qbus Luqas Smart Energy Management Module

The LUQAS module is an energy management system (EMS) with 6 functions that works completely independently (Stand-Alone). You only need a digital meter.
With 1 module it is possible to understand the energy flows in the home and to control your large consumers intelligently in order to reduce your energy bill.

The 6 functions:

1. Connection with smart meter

2. P1 port splitter (3x RJ12)​

3. Control of heat pump / boiler via Smart Grid

4. Control of your one or two charging points based on solar energy, dynamic rates, weather forecast, etc.

5. Reading individual consumers via pulse measurement

6. Control / visualization / notifications via Cloud or App (Android & iOS):

• Control: application where end customer can operate his installation
• Live and historical energy data + control settings ​
• Notifications: expected quarter peak exceeded, overproduction & overconsumption

One central control

Via the P1- port, the data from the digital meter can be read. In this way, the module knows at any time, for example, how much injection and consumption there is. In addition, the module also has two to control heat pumps or heat pump boilers (both temporarily switch off at high consumption or heat slightly higher to store free solar energy). In this way, the heat pump can be controlled optimally and energy-efficiently without comfort loss. The 2 pulse inputs can be used to read the water consumption or the pulses of an additional kWh meter (PV panels, heat pump, ...).
This module also features a smart P1 port switch that splits the P1 data across three P1 OUT ports.
A charging station can also be connected via the network connection. The Luqas module will then automatically regulate the available power based on set parameters (such as energy slider, main circuit breaker, technical installation, kilometers to be charged, etc.), rates (dual or dynamic rate), consumption and weather forecast and the current digital meter information.

Configured in a flash

The configuration of the module is done on the basis of a smooth configuration wizard online after scanning the QR code on the module. In a few minutes the module is configured and the end customer will receive an e-mail with a link to his energy dashboard via the Qbus Control app or Cloud.

Clear and intuitive visualization

The visualisation and operation is done via the Qbus Control application or Cloud interface where everything is presented simply at a glance. The end user can adjust his heat pump and/or charging station himself or have it controlled automatically based on an energy slider: this slider indicates the maximum amount of power that may be used. The car can be charged automatically with a fixed number of kilometres at the cheapest moments, purely based on solar energy or manually. This way you keep everything under control.

All data is kept on the energy dashboard. This makes it possible to track down large consumers in historical data. The data can also be used to weigh up investments in new appliances.
Every month, customers receive a comprehensive and personalized energy report with individual tips & tricks to better manage their energy.
