The new Huawei Smart EV Charger is an advanced and secure AC charging solution for electric vehicles. With dynamically adjustable charging speeds, smart functions and connectivity options, it offers convenience and efficiency. A major advantage of the charging station is that it fits perfectly into the Huawei ecosystem and communicates with existing solar systems. This allows you to directly use electricity generated by your panels to charge your electric car instead of taking it from the LUNA home battery. The 3-phase variant can also be used as single-phase.
For solar charging and load balancing, you need an energy meter:
- In combination with a Huawei inverter (new or existing under conditions) with DDSU666-H or DTSU666-H(W). Always 1 Dongle WLAN/FE required.
- In combination with an inverter from another brand or without PV (stand-alone Charger) using the DTSU666-FE.
It is not advisable to install two Huawei meters (FE meter & RS485 meter) simultaneously. This applies if you already have an 'EnFluRi' meter for your battery (Belgium, see Synergrid regulations).
