Huawei's new Smart EV Charger is an advanced and safe AC charging solution for electric vehicles. With dynamically adjustable charging speeds, smart features, and connectivity options, it offers convenience and efficiency. A major advantage of the charging station is that it fits seamlessly into the Huawei ecosystem and communicates with your existing solar system. This allows you to use the power generated by your panels directly to charge your electric car instead of drawing it from the LUNA home battery. The 3-phase version can also be used as a single-phase charger.
For solar charging and load balancing you need an energy meter:
- In combination with a Huawei inverter (new or existing under certain conditions) with DDSU666-H or DTSU666-H(W). One Wi-Fi/FE dongle is always required.
- In combination with an inverter from another brand or without PV (stand-alone Charger) using the DTSU666-FE.
Connecting two Huawei meters (FE meter & RS485 meter) simultaneously is not recommended. This is especially true if, for example, you already have an 'EnFluRi' meter for your battery ( Belgium, see Synergrid regulations ).
