The P1 meter works with all digital meters in Belgium, even without an external power supply. If you have a smart meter with SMR version 5.0 or higher, it provides sufficient power for operation without an adapter. For older smart meters in the Netherlands, a USB-C adapter set is required.

On Belgian digital meters, the P1 meter is powered directly from the P1 port. On older Dutch smart meters (SMR4.2 and lower), a USB-C adapter necessary.
