The stylish and powerful SUMMIT is an ideal choice for both indoor space heating and sheltered outdoor areas. Designed with the latest Kanthal AF heating elements and finished with a GE IR-enhancing coating, the SUMMIT offers an energy-efficient heating solution for areas requiring effective comfort heating without the glare of medium-infrared heaters.
The SUMMIT is suitable for both indoor and outdoor locations where airflow is low or controlled. It can be wall-mounted or suspended directly above the ceiling, maximizing heating in the area directly below. The sleek and stylish SUMMIT is an excellent solution for restaurants, bars, shops, and similar indoor environments seeking a stylish yet discreet heating solution for their space.
When used outdoors, the Herschel SUMMIT must be permanently covered and fully protected from water ingress or exposure to rainfall. In exposed areas with air movement and wind, far-infrared distribution can be reduced by 1/3 to 1/2. In such cases, we recommend increasing the number of heaters proportionally. For colder, windier situations, the SUMMIT is less effective, and we recommend choosing a heater from our Sunset or Performance outdoor range.
The SUMMIT 2600R has a remote control with two power settings (100% and 50%) and a timer from 1 to 24 hours. It must be operated via the remote control and cannot be paired with any controller. The SUMMIT 2600 (non-remote model) can be used with external thermostat controllers, such as the Herschel iQ MD2 , enabling thermostatic and App control.
