The Herschel iQ MD2 wired thermostat is ideal for new builds/renovations where wiring can be neatly concealed, whether for residential or commercial applications. Combined with your Wi-Fi network and the SmartLife app, the MD2 can also be controlled remotely via the internet, allowing you to manage your heating even when you're away from the building. The SmartLife app also allows you to control your heating with your voice via Alexa or Google Assistant.
MD2 is connected directly to the power mains and to the heaters and must be built into the wall.
The MD2 thermostat controls your Herschel heater(s) by switching them on when the room temperature is lower than your desired temperature and switching them off once the desired temperature is reached. The MD2 is easy to use, has a large digital touchscreen display, and incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features, including Herschel's open window technology.
The MD2 features a keypad lock function to prevent unauthorized tampering, making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, nursing homes, student housing, and rental properties. The MD2 is a 16-amp thermostat that can connect up to 3.6 kW Herschel heaters.
Note: Herschel iQ controls will only work with Herschel heaters. * Attempting to use with any other heater brand will void the warranty.
