The BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack for use with an external inverter. A single Battery-Box Premium LVS contains between one and six parallel-stacked LVS battery modules and can achieve a usable capacity of 4 to 24.0 kWh in a single stack:
- Battery Box LVS 4.0 (4 kWh)
- Battery Box LVS 8.0 (8 kWh)
- Battery box LVS 12.0 (12 kWh)
- Battery box LVS 16.0 (16 kWh)
- Battery box LVS 20.0 (20 kWh)
- Battery box LVS 24.0 (24 kWh)
Connect up to 16 Battery-Box LVS 16.0 units in parallel for a maximum capacity of 256 kWh. Scalability is achieved by adding LVS modules or parallel towers of 1 to 4 modules later.
To complete the home battery you need the following parts:
- BYD Battery Box Premium LVS - PDU + Pedestal (662004)
- BYD Battery Box Premium LVS – BMU (662005)
- Depending on the specific inverter: BYD LVS Male connector set 35mm2 (430125) or BYD LVS Male connector set 50mm2 (430126)
