A Battery-Box Premium HVM consists of 3 to 8 HVM battery modules connected in series to achieve a usable capacity of 8.3 to 22.1 kWh. In addition, a direct parallel connection of up to 3 identical Battery-Box Premium HVMs allows a maximum capacity of 66.2 kWh. Possibility of scaling up by adding HVM modules or parallel HVM stacks later.

The BYD HVM battery, or High-Voltage Medium, is larger in terms of power than the HVS. A basic package consists of 3 battery modules with a combined capacity of 8.3 kWh. This model can be expanded to a maximum of 8 modules with a combined capacity of 22.1 kWh. Each module has a capacity of 2.76 kWh and an internal voltage of 51.2V.
There is also a minimum for this model. You must use at least 3 modules for a functioning battery. A maximum of 3 identical systems can be connected in parallel – i.e. 3 x 8 – achieving a maximum power of 66.2 kWh.
