Qbus Wireless Zigbee Interface

The Qbus wireless Zigbee Interface (QWI/ZB) is the link between the Qbus system and compatible wireless participants. This allows you to connect up to 50 Qbus wireless Zigbee modules and certain products from other manufacturers that work with the Zigbee protocol to a Qbus system . You can realize this as a wireless extension to the Qbus system and/or convert a classic wired installation into a smart Qbus installation.

This makes it possible to use various control options within the Qbus system, both inside and outside the home or building, for example with the Qbus Control application. The module is supplied with an external antenna, so that the antenna can be mounted in an optimal place.

The QWI/ZB with its Zigbee network can even be combined with a QWI/EW within the same Qbus system. You can use these two different RF systems within the same Qbus installation at the same time.

The Easywave modules are not compatible with Zigbee , and therefore not with the QWI/ZB, but you can connect them via a QWI/EW to the same Qbus system to which the QWI/ZB is also connected. This allows you to combine the advantages of both RF systems within one Qbus system and combine modules that are wired with or without Qbus .

To use the QWI/ZB, a connection to the Qbus bus from a CTD controller is required.
