Qbus Energy Counter Module for measuring pulses on 4 inputs

The ECM04 or energy counter module is a module that adds up the pulses it receives from a meter. It does not matter from which type of meter these pulses come as long as the contacts are voltage-free. The ECM can receive and add a pulse every 250ms. The system can also create an alarm at a certain number of pulses, for example for a green energy certificate for solar panels.

The maximum length of the cable between the ECM04 and the contacts that are connected to it is 1 meter. The input contacts can be defined via the Qbus software, whereby the following settings can be selected:

• Push button = when a push button is connected to the input (normally open, only activates a status when the push button is pressed briefly, e.g. a doorbell).
• Normally open = contact that is open when not active.
• Normally closed = contact that is closed when not active.

The 4 low voltage LEDs that can be connected to an ECM04 indicate the status of the selected mode for each input.
