The connected switchable socket communicates wirelessly with the wireless smart hub for Niko Home Control (552-00001). You can also use this device in a bus wiring installation with the wireless bridge for Niko Home Control (550-00640).
Together with the smart hub or a wireless bridge, you can connect it to a wireless switch without any additional wiring. In addition, you can connect the plugged-in device to handy routines such as an all-off/all-on function or calendar functions and you can control it remotely via the Niko Home app. In addition, there is a built-in function to measure consumption, so you can save energy by viewing the energy data of the plugged-in device in the Niko Home app. Use the connected switchable socket outlet with the routines 'peak mode' and 'solar mode' to optimize your energy production and consumption.
Note that you can also use the socket standalone as a classic socket. It is equipped with a standard built-in protection against overheating and overcurrent for optimum safety.
Wires that get stuck:
• Wire is firmly secured thanks to the high-quality, long-lasting plug-in terminal, tested according to the standard
• the release of the conductors is located at the front of all mechanisms, so that the wiring cannot push on the release when it is pushed into the flush-mounting box and the wires cannot come loose
Faster and easier installation:
• all connection terminals are located at the top of the base:
– so that all wires can be cut and stripped to the same length.
– so that there is more space under the mechanism to easily fold the wires and place the mechanism in the flush-mounting box, without the wiring pushing the mechanism back up.
Niko quality:
• long service life, because the plug-in terminal remains within the standard limits during heating and voltage drops.
• metal base is rock solid, even on uneven walls, does not break, and is not subject to stress cracking (small cracks).
• sturdy metal claws with a large engagement depth (31 mm) remain in place during installation and can be screwed down firmly, so that sockets remain in the wall later and mechanisms do not become warped.
Technical data:
• Compatible with the wireless bridge
• Input voltage: 230 Vac ± 10%, 50 Hz
• Wire capacity: 2 x 2.5 mm²
• Standby consumption: 0.15 W
• Maximum load: 16 A / 3680 W
