Active load balancing with Alfen can be done via an energy meter (modbus TCP/IP) or via the P1 port of your digital meter (DSMR 4.0 or newer) at least if you have activated it. With this accessory, you can extend the P1 connection up to 100m via UTP to also avoid disturbances, for example.
