The Herschel iQ MD2 wired thermostat is ideal for new builds/renovations where wiring can be neatly concealed, whether for domestic or commercial use. Combined with your wifi network and the SmartLife app, the MD2 can also be controlled remotely via the internet, allowing you to manage your heating when you are away from the building. With the SmartLife app, you can also control your heating by voice via Alexa or Google Assistant.
MD2 is directly connected to the mains power and the heaters and must be built into the wall.
The MD2 thermostat controls your Herschel heater(s) by turning them on when the room temperature is below the desired temperature and turning them off once the desired temperature is reached. The MD2 is easy to operate, features a large digital touchscreen display, and includes the latest energy-saving features from EcoDesign, including Herschel's open window technology.
MD2 has a keypad lock function to prevent unauthorized tampering, making it suitable for commercial applications such as hotels, care homes, student housing, and rental properties. The MD2 is a 16 amp thermostat that can connect up to 3.6 kW Herschel heaters.
Note: Herschel iQ controls only work with Herschel heaters. * Attempts to use with another heating brand will void the warranty.
