The QWZ-RAD is a wireless motorized radiator thermostat that can be linked to the Qbus Wireless Interface with Zigbee protocol (QWI/ZB). This allows you to easily create a multizone heating control in situations where a wired solution is not possible, feasible, or desirable. A multizone heating control provides an average saving of 30%.
Thanks to the connection with the Qbus controller via the QWI/ZB, many applications and configurations are possible. This makes it possible to use various control options within the Qbus system, but also online with, for example, Qbus Control.
Multiple QWZ-RADs can be placed in the same zone. The radiator thermostats in the same zone are controlled by the Qbus system synchronized, enabling clear and simple operation and control. The radiator thermostat (QWZ-RAD) is easy to operate and configurable with the round rotary and push button.
An energy-efficient LED display is integrated, so the selected temperature can be read during operation. The QWZ-RAD is powered by 2 replaceable AA batteries. Under normal conditions and average use, you only need to replace the batteries once a year.
You can mount the QWZ/RAD on valves via the M30 x 1.5 nut. Three adapters are also supplied for mounting on valve bodies of Danfoss (RA), Giacomini (1/2” + short transmission) and Caleffi (1/2”).
