To create a watertight and durable connection between your solar panels, it is very important that your MC4 connectors are properly tightened. Tightening with pliers does not provide the desired result, as you can damage the connectors this way. Additionally, you won't notice when the connectors are sufficiently tightened or when they are tightened too much.
