The Herschel iQ T2 thermostat package (including a T2 thermostat plus R2 receiver) contains the very latest energy-saving technology and is specifically designed to control Herschel infrared heaters. When used with wifi, you can also control your heating remotely with the SmartLife App.

Easy to install and perfect for installations where hard wiring to the MD2 thermostat would be impractical (for example, if you want to minimize chasing walls / cable ducts).

The T2 package consists of a wireless battery-powered T2 thermostat that can be wall-mounted or freestanding (and also includes an R2 receiver).

The R2 receiver must be connected to the power supply and also to the Herschel heater(s). The T2 and R2 are wirelessly linked, and the R2 can also be connected to your wifi for SmartLife app control (if needed).

The T2 then controls all R2s linked to it. The T2 package can control up to 2 kW (at 230V supply) Herschel infrared heaters on one electrical circuit. To control more heaters in the same zone, or if you want one R2 receiver per heater, simply purchase extra R2 receivers and link them to the T2.

The T2 features 2 manual modes and 7 x 1 day programming and is an easy-to-use thermostat. The T2 includes the latest energy-saving features from EcoDesign, including Herschel’s open window technology and an adaptive start function, so your room is always at the right temperature with minimal energy use.

Note:

Herschel controls only work with Herschel heaters. Warranty is void if used with another brand of heating.

A T2 must be used, even if the SmartLife app control is the main way to manage your heating (you cannot use just the app and R2).

The T-T2 package includes a T2 thermostat and an R2 receiver.
